Smudging practice
Light the tip of the stick.
Wait a few seconds and waft the flame out, shaking the stick gently.
Now blow until it smoke gently like incense. Remember that it’s the smoke that does the work and so the stick does not have to remain lit.
To clear stuck, heavy or bad energy in home, hold it with your hand and walk around the area you want to remove the bad energy from – include corners, windows and behind doors.
Ideal to use even when relaxing, it is a great way to calm your mind.
In this case let the white sage smudge smoke gently, placing it on a grès dish.
Sage stick should be left to smoulder rather than extinguish or you can extinguish it by lightly pressing the stick into your fireproof dish.
Once it is off, you can relight the stick – we recommend cutting away the burnt residue.
Never leave a lit sage stick unattended.
