WA:IT was created by Raffaella Grisa, an advocate of mindful clean beauty culture.
This organic beauty brand is a personal project that reflects her life philosophy and meanings found along traveling the world and encountering various cultures.
For many years Raffaella has travelled constantly from Italy to the Far East and from the country of the Rising Sun she has embraced uses, traditions and an holistic view of life. ​ The name WA: IT takes its origin from there: WA (the ancient name of Japan, but also harmony) to IT that is the prefix that identifies Italy.

What?

SUSTAINABLE BEAUTY

The brand is a magical combination of traditional Japanese medicine, aromatherapy, mindfulness, sustainability and the search for an holistic approach to beauty. Formulations are free from synthetics, gmo, toxins, parabens, petro-chemicals, sulphates, artificial fragrances. The choice of the suppliers of raw materials has been executed through a fair trade approach, in order to guarantee both – environmental and socio-economic sustainability.

THE DUALITY OF BEAUTY

WA:IT is a symbiosis of two cultures – Japanese and Italian.
From the Italian side, beauty is about life and warmth. It blooms and flourishes like all living in the summer. Japan, on the other hand, represents the transience of things. Just as in nature, seasons change, something is wakened, and something falls asleep.
WA:IT is an invitation to wait and go on another cycle while wandering along with the world that goes on and absorbing all the natural beauty.
